Synopsis: Fiona hates court life and fears her Aunt, the fairy queen Mab, will name her as heir. She decides to take a short vacation in the human realm, which is forbidden to the fae. Her world is turned upside down when she is attacked by a demon immediately upon stepping out of the gate. Luckily, werewolf Tobias Walker is patrolling the park and jumps in to protect her. Sparks fly between the two as Tobias realizes the implications of a faerie princess being in the human realm.

The next day he and Fiona return to the gate, only to find it warded, making it impossible for her to return home. Victims of the demons begin to pile up and Fiona and Tobias' pack have to sort out what is going on and save humans, the Others, and the Fae alike.

My thoughts: What a delightful book. If I had a keeper shelf, it would be placed happily upon it. The sexual chemistry between Fiona and Walker sparks and their banter has the feel of the classic show MOONLIGHTING. Fiona is a kick-ass heroine and Tobias is a howl as the protective, yet put-upon mate.
